Muhammad

Muhammad is something of a tragic figure in history. He seems to have wanted to be a good person, but through the way he handled events in his life he became evil. He turned from wanting to be a prophet accepted by Jews and Christians as one bringing religion to the pagan Arabs into a mass murderer who killed Jews and Christians because they rejected him.

When he was young his father died leaving him fatherless. In his life it is described that he would fall on the ground and foam at the mouth, indicating seizures. He is said to have slept with Aisha when she was young and did not hurt her. Indicating he was not well endowed. He is said to have been ridden by the men of al-Zutt all night long. Finally, he had no children of his own as his one child (with Mary the Copt) died as a 2 year old infant, he himself was not able to be a father.

He had this birthmark that made him think he was a prophet, and his first wife basically said "yes, dear" when he asked her if he was a prophet starting him down this dark path that ultimately created 1400 years of Jihadic rape and death.

Does compassion for him obsolve him for what he did? Absolutely not, being spineless is not a virtue. It does mean we can see him in context and see his failure for what it was. Muhammad was a man, flawed man, who throughout his life gained much power and instituted his worldly desires in a system that religified tribal dynamics. He took people messing with him to extend to everyone in the group in an abject failure of logic. He took his misunderstanding of Christian and Judaic religion and codified it. He is, in some sense, a victim of his own success as a false prophet. After enough believed he could not admit he was wrong.

This Site & Muslim People

This site isn't against the people. It's against a system and how that system is practiced. But, be careful, the reason the West isn't Islamic now is because the Imams have not given the order to kill you, meaning that Muslims are embedded in a system and are akin to someone who can be taken over by Agent Smith in The Matrix. If Islam would become Meccan and Sufi Islam, the world may become more peaceful. That is, if they got rid of physical Jihad and made it internal and personal only.

Some of this site is original, but other parts of it are links to other places and videos that help explain things better than I do. In that vain, this is also a bit of a hub to make things known and let you know that these issues exist.

What is fair game to be up on this site are criticisms of Muhammad, the Qur'an, the Hadith, the Fiqh, and any Imam and Scholar living or dead. To put it another way, every day Muslims are off limits. Anything they do, any practice they have, any book they read is fair game. Muslims should not expect any, nor demand any, resepect for their religion here. Especially since they never give it.

Polemics
